Faculty members across the Maricopa Community Colleges District (MCCCD) have defined the outcomes of college programs and courses competencies and developed measures to assess them. At MCC, faculty also developed the Institutional Student Learning Outcomes that are to be embedded at the course level. These outcomes are known as the “MCC’s 4 Cs” and are consistent with the Vision, Mission, and Values of both MCC and MCCCD.
All faculty are strongly encouraged to integrate one or more of MCC’s 4Cs into their course design. Courses included on the Guided Pathways maps, should agree on one C to assess consistently across courses. The CTL will offer bi-weekly trainings this fall to assist faculty with revising or creating an assignment and rubric and attach a scoring guideline to contribute to an institutional assessment of student learning outcomes.
Faculty are encourged to attend sessions within their designated department week listed below. Location: AS-175
Register for any session though HCM. Instructions are embedded in session details on the CTL calendar.
