Who doesn’t want to be a hero? Well, with “The Hero Factory” anyone can be one! This app is graphically appealing and engaging. What a fun way to introduce each other in class. For example, have students define their super powers and strengths. Then, they post their avatar and their SUPER bio…or, put them all on timeline (Dipity or Timetoast) to archive the classes untapped potential! This is a great way to “get to know your students” as well as them to each other! This is definitely a TOP FAV…and, already have scrapped it as a souvenir to keep!

I chose this app because I thought it would be a cute and fun app for a student to use to get to know one another. Instead of them creating a drawing of themselves, they could learn more about technology and have fun doing it. Then, have them introduce themselves with this instead of standing up in front of the class terrified. Instead let the app do the work…telling all about them…and, their super powers!

Using this would get the students excited about learning to try something new and out of the box. There are many different and creative ways to engage students. And, this app allows just this. There is not limit to learning…you just need the tools to do it!
