Mesa Community College and its wonderfully dedicated and diverse faculty and staff are committed to student success and to promoting excellence in teaching and learning. Each of our faculty members and academic support staff play a vital role in the lives of our students. It is their commitment to student success that makes Mesa Community College a special place.
In a time of challenging events and enrollment growth, the Academic Affairs team has worked collaboratively with faculty and staff from across the college to expand faculty involvement in advisement, develop a more comprehensive approach to developmental education, strengthen our Honors program, and reexamine how we do e-Learning. The college is moving forward as one of the premiere community colleges in the country. Across the college, a new spirit of collaboration and openness is helping to build trust and encourage creativity and new initiatives. Faculty and staff are working together to implement new programs that support student learning, assess student outcomes, promote global citizenship, and provide service excellence.
The Faculty Handbook provides an accessible collection of policies, procedures, practices, and services that help to support effective teaching and learning. It is produced through the hard work of the Center for Teaching and Learning. Engage your students, get involved in the college, and enjoy each day at this wonderful institution.
