Standard 6 includes seven criteria, with Criteria 6.1, 6.4, 6.5, and 6.6 designated as Essential. Criteria 6.1, 6.4, and 6.5 support Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI).

The course intentionally sequences formative and summative assessments to monitor student learning, provide meaningful feedback, and support mastery of the learning outcomes.

Assessments are intentionally designed to be authentic, scaffolded, and aligned with the learning outcomes, providing meaningful opportunities for students to apply knowledge, demonstrate original thinking, and communicate their learning in real-world contexts.

6.3: Self-Assessment & Reflection

The course provides opportunities for learners to reflect on their progress and assess their own learning throughout the course (via pre-tests, self-tests with feedback, reflective assignments, peer assessment, etc.).

Criteria for graded assignments are clearly communicated through rubrics, exemplars, or other scoring guides.
